FBTS Offers Biblical Counseling Module

The seminary module, Introduction to Biblical Counseling, will once again be offered on August 14-18 from 5-10 p.m. in Faith’s Nettleton Center. This class explores key aspects of a Biblical philosophy and methodology of counseling along with foundational Biblical teaching on confession, repentance, forgiveness, anger, conflict, and helping those who suffer. Students who participate in this class can expect to grow in their own life of godliness and in their ability to assist others on the path of progressive sanctification.
Many churches have realized great benefit from bringing a group of ministry leaders to this class, using the class as both a training opportunity and a launching platform for ongoing conversation and ministry following the class. For more information about how to register yourself or a group from your church, please contact Dr. Jeff Newman (newmanj@faith.edu).

Micah Hartwig Praise Update

July 13th 2017 Update
Micah’s scans came back clear! Praise the LORD!
July 5th, 2017
Micah has finished his scheduled chemo and has end-of-treatment scans on July 12th. This will be a full day of tests for him, which will determine what lies ahead for us. We have reason to believe that the treatment has worked, but our ultimate trust is in the Lord to heal Micah. Please pray that we will not worry, but put our complete trust in the Lord. Pray for the healing of his body, that we might be done with this cancer! Thank you all for praying for us.
Thanks,
Ben Hartwig
